Last Sunday (August 30) was Charlie's baby dedication at our church, Community of Faith Christian Fellowship (CFCF). Three of Charlie's baby friends from CFCF were dedicated as well, including Lily Grace, who was born a day before Charlie. The ceremony was great. Pastor Sean prayed over all of the babies and their families, dedicating Charlie "unto God and His purposes," as the dedication certificate says (Charlie's first certificate!). We've been praying that God give us the wisdom to raise this little guy, and the dedication was a great reminder of the awesome gift -- and responsibility -- God has blessed us with. It was great to have Charlie's Nanny and Grandpa V, and our friends Cindy and Glen, join us for this for this special day!
Charlie with Lily Grace, our friends' Meghan and Craig's baby. Michelle and Meghan were due the same day, May 31, 2009 -- Lily Grace was born on June 7 and Charlie was born on June 8.
